Which fire door rules apply in Caerphilly?
Fire door work in Caerphilly follows Welsh building regulations and the Welsh Approved Document B. The Fire Safety Order 2005 covers workplaces and the shared parts of residential buildings here too, placing the duty on the responsible person.
The English regulation 10 checking regime does not extend to Caerphilly, so how often doors are checked comes from the fire risk assessment. We hand over evidence that fits whatever regime your assessor sets.
Covering Caerphilly and nearby
We also cover towns near Caerphilly, including Risca (8.9 km away), Pontypridd and Cardiff. If your building is in CF83 or a neighbouring district, the service and pricing are the same.
