Fire door installers covering Risca

Fire doors for Risca buildings

Our fire door installation service covers Risca and the wider Gwent area. Every job starts with a survey of the openings, so the quote reflects your actual doors rather than a guess.

Risca has a broad mix of buildings, including light industrial buildings, schools and family homes after loft conversions, and the same fire door principles apply to all of them.

Who is responsible for fire doors in Risca?

Fire door responsibilities in Risca sit with whoever controls the building: an employer or occupier, a freeholder or managing agent, a landlord or a homeowner. We can work directly for any of them, or alongside their fire risk assessor.

Which fire door rules apply in Risca?

Because Risca is in Wales, we work to the Building Regulations as they apply in Wales and to the Welsh version of Approved Document B. The responsible person duties under the Fire Safety Order 2005 still apply to workplaces and common parts.

England's fire door checking rules for tall residential buildings do not apply in Wales, so the checking frequency for doors in Risca comes from your fire risk assessment.

Neighbouring towns such as Newport (Gwent), Cwmbran, Caerphilly and Pontypool are covered too, so clients with several buildings can use one installer and one evidence format.
