Which fire door rules apply in Maesteg?

Fire door work in Maesteg follows Welsh building regulations and the Welsh Approved Document B. The Fire Safety Order 2005 covers workplaces and the shared parts of residential buildings here too, placing the duty on the responsible person.

The English regulation 10 checking regime does not extend to Maesteg, so how often doors are checked comes from the fire risk assessment. We hand over evidence that fits whatever regime your assessor sets.

Neighbouring towns such as Briton Ferry, Neath, Bridgend and Tonypandy are covered too, so clients with several buildings can use one installer and one evidence format.
