What certified fire doorsets in Newry should include
If you need certified fire doorsets in Newry, we can survey, supply and install, then leave you the evidence your fire risk assessor will ask for.
Fire doors in Newry protect escape routes in light industrial buildings, family homes after loft conversions and small offices alike. We adapt the programme to the building and its occupants, never the standard of the installation.
Doorsets suit refurbishment programmes in Newry, where several openings can be measured, ordered and fitted in one planned sequence. Every doorset we fit in Newry is handed over with its certificate reference and photographs of the frame fixing and gap sealing.
What does third-party certification mean?
Third-party certification means an independent body has checked the product's test evidence and audits the factory that makes it. Certified products carry a label or plug on the door edge and a certificate you can check. Buyers often look for schemes such as BWF Certifire or BM TRADA Q-Mark when choosing products. Our guide to certified doorsets explains how to read the label and certificate.
Each installation includes:
- Certificate references and photo record per opening
- Pre-hung, pre-machined doorsets where available
- Frame fixing and frame-to-wall gap sealing
- Doorset selection to rating, size and use

Do doorsets come painted?
They can be supplied primed, factory painted, veneered, laminated or with a composite skin, depending on the product. Factory finishes avoid painting over seals and labels on site.
