Commercial fire doors for Newry buildings
From the BT35 postcode district outwards, we take on commercial fire doors across Newry for homes, blocks and workplaces.
Fire doors in Newry protect escape routes in light industrial buildings, small blocks of flats and family homes after loft conversions alike. We adapt the programme to the building and its occupants, never the standard of the installation.
For commercial buildings in Newry, we coordinate access control and alarm interfaces before the doors arrive. Each commercial door we fit in Newry gets a record your fire risk assessor can use straight away.
Doors that look the part and still perform
Commercial interiors often need veneered, laminated or painted finishes, glazing, push plates, kick plates and signage. All of this is possible on a fire door, provided every element is covered by the doorset's certification. We specify the finish and hardware at the outset so nothing has to be improvised on site.
What you get:
- Per-door evidence for your fire risk assessment
- Access control and electric locking interfaces
- Glazed and solid options to certification
- Doorsets with veneer, laminate or paint finishes
What the rules say for Newry
Newry is in Northern Ireland, where fire doors are covered by the Building Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 and Technical Booklet E on fire safety. Duties in non-domestic premises come from the Fire and Rescue Services (Northern Ireland) Order 2006 and the Fire Safety Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010.
The English regulation 10 checking regime does not apply here, so the fire risk assessment sets how often doors in Newry are checked. We hand over evidence that supports it.
