Fire doors for Dumfries buildings
We provide fire door installation in Dumfries (DG1 and the surrounding postcodes), from the first survey through to a documented handover.
Fire doors in Dumfries protect escape routes in family homes after loft conversions, light industrial buildings and houses with integral garages alike. We adapt the programme to the building and its occupants, never the standard of the installation.

Fire door law for Dumfries properties
Dumfries is in Scotland, which has its own system. Building work, including many fire door replacements, is governed by the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 and the Technical Handbooks, with Section 2 covering fire; where a building warrant is needed it comes from the local authority. In non-domestic premises, the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 set the duties.
The common parts of private blocks of flats largely sit outside Part 3 of the 2005 Act, so the fire risk assessment and housing obligations usually drive fire door work in residential buildings in Dumfries.
