Swansea has a broad mix of buildings, including student accommodation, mixed-use office buildings and shared houses, and the same fire door principles apply to all of them.
Who is responsible for fire doors in Swansea?

The regulations behind fire doors in Swansea
Fire door work in Swansea follows Welsh building regulations and the Welsh Approved Document B. The Fire Safety Order 2005 covers workplaces and the shared parts of residential buildings here too, placing the duty on the responsible person.
The English regulation 10 checking regime does not extend to Swansea, so how often doors are checked comes from the fire risk assessment. We hand over evidence that fits whatever regime your assessor sets.
Covering Swansea and nearby
Beyond Swansea itself we also cover nearby towns such as Briton Ferry (8.7 km), Gorseinon and Neath. The service, pricing and evidence are the same wherever you are.
